Bronzeville Week

Bronzeville Week

Taking place during the first week of August, Bronzeville Week is an 8-day celebration surrounding the culture, entertainment, and arts of the historic Bronzeville district. Events are held at various locations throughout Bronzeville, and offer a variety of specialty workshops, exhibits, live entertainment, and discussion forums. (Bronzeville Week is hosted by Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs, and is supported by the City of Milwaukee, Historic King Drive BID No. 8, area businesses, and numerous sponsors, including corporate and philanthropic sectors.) For more information visit milwaukee.gov/bronzeville.

Bronzeville Artwalk

The Art Walk is the finale of Bronzeville Week. This event provides the opportunity to get connected to some of Milwaukee’s top talent, view live art displays, and patronize both the artist, and the businesses who host their works. This self-guided tour is made easy with traditional style trolley rides for easy navigation to locations within the Historic King Drive neighborhood.
