The Historic King Drive Business Improvement District (BID) and North Shore Bank recently announced the creation of a $50,000 revolving loan fund

“We are excited this investment into King Drive is happening now,” said Deshea Agee, executive director of the Historic King BID. “With interest in the District at an all-time high, this loan program will encourage even more businesses to move to the area and help businesses already here continue to thrive.”

The BID will utilize the fund to authorize small business loans between $1,000 and $10,000. The loans are available to qualified businesses looking to either start or grow their presence in the Historic King Drive district. In addition to the funds, applicants will receive free technical assistance and mentorship. The loan fund is administered by Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corporation.

The BID views its geographic area as an ecosystem where residential life, commerce and community service are interconnected. Interested businesses can call 414-265-5809 for more information or to apply.
